The Oversight Board is established by the language set forth in ABX1 26 (Assembly Bill 26) that ultimately eliminated redevelopment agencies and their activities in the State of California as of February 1, 2012. The seven member Oversight Board is made up of appointed representatives from several of the affected taxing entities. Their duties include providing direction to the Successor Agency to the Agoura Hills Redevelopment Agency in order to close out or "wind down" the affairs of the previous Redevelopment Agency. Items approved by the Oversight Board may be reviewed by the State Department of Finance.

For questions regarding the Oversight Board or the Successor Agency to the Agoura Hills Redevelopment Agency, please contact Nathan Hamburger, Assistant Executive Director, at (818) 597-7308 or Nhamburger@ci.agoura-hills.ca.us
