The City of Agoura Hills’ Department of Community Services is currently accepting names of individuals who would like to volunteer in various opportunities, as the needs in the community arise.  The tasks may range from packaging meals, delivering meals, to checking in on lonely seniors via phone calls.  As the needs arise, volunteers will be contacted about potential opportunities.

The American Red Cross is in great need of blood donors during this time. Check out their website to find a blood drive happening near you.

Write letters to seniors in Assisted Living Facilities:

Several local assisted living facilities are asking for people to send notes and letters to seniors that are following “safer at home.”  Many of the seniors have become very isolated form their families and friends.
