 5/27/2020 - City Manager signs Resolution No. 20-1932 extending the residential and commercial eviction moratorium. 

3/20/2020 - City Manager signs Executive Order 2020-01 imposing emergency regulations related to evictions, social distancing measures, and closures of certain businesses. 

3/16/2020 - As part of the City’s emergency protective measures, all non-essential city services, programs and events are suspended or cancelled until further notice.

3/16/2020 - City Hall is closed to the public. The City Council and staff continue to work and are available to assist the community.

3/13/2020 - Recreation & Event center closed to the public and all classes and events are suspended or cancelled until further notice.

3/27/2020 - LA County Health Officer issues Addendum to Safe at Home order for Temporary Closure of Public Trails and Trailheads, Beaches, Piers, Beach Bike Paths and Beach Access Points  

3/25/2020 - LA County Health Officer issues Public Health Emergency Quarantine Order for those who may have come in contact with an infected individual. 

3/25/2020 - LA County Health Officer issues Public Health Emergency Isolation Order for individuals who have tested positive or believe to be infected.

3/19/2020 - Los Angeles County Public Health Officer issues "Safer at Home" Order for Control of COVID-19" ordering temporary prohibition of events and gatherings of 10 persons or more and closure of non-essential businesses and areas.

3/16/2020 - The Los Angeles County Public Health Officer issued an Order for the Control of COVID-19, which imposed a temporary prohibition of group events and gatherings where at least 50 people are expected to be in attendance, required social distancing measures, ordered all restaurants to limit their services to only preparing and offering food provided to customers via delivery service, pick-up for takeout dining, and via drive-thru; and required all bars (that do not serve food), gyms, and live or movie theaters to be closed.

3/20/2020 - State Health Officer publishes list of "Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” to provide further definition of those affected by the Stay at Home Order (N-33-20.

3/19/2020 - State Health Officer issues "Stay at Home" Executive Order No. N-33-20 requiring all living in California to stay at home with few exceptions for 16 critical infrastructure sectors are necessary for continuity of security, economic security, public health or safety.

3/19/2020 - Governor Newsom issued Executive Order No. N-31-20 to ease restrictions on commercial drivers delivering critical supplies and equipment to retailers throughout the state.

3/17/2020 - The Governor placed the California National Guard on alert with direction to be prepared to perform humanitarian missions across the state, including food distribution and ensuring resiliency of supply lines, as well as supporting public safety, as required.
