As of Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 there has been 61* positive tests for COVID-19 within Agoura Hills, and 105,507* cases across LA County.

Los Angeles County has provided an updated Health Office Order on July 1st, 2020. This order mandates that all restaurants, wineries, movie theaters, zoos & museums, entertainment centers, and card rooms must close indoor operations effective immediately. All bars must close all operations indefinitely. This order is available in it's entirety at the following link:
Los Angeles County released an order on June 29th requiring a temporary closure of beaches, beach bike paths, and access points. This order also prohibits firework shows and events. This closure will last from 12:00 AM on July 3rd, 2020, through 5:00 AM on July 6th, 2020. The full order is available at the following link:
Face coverings are a requirement for many activities as we begin the reopening process. Governor Newsom announced effective June 18th, face coverings are mandatory in high-risk situations and public settings. The following facilities and services are also being impacted by the Novel Coronavirus situation:
- City Hall, The Agoura Hills Library, and the Agoura Hills Recreation & Event Center are closed to the public. All upcoming City events are being cancelled or rescheduled.
- Essential services including Police, Fire, and emergency medical assistance are fully functional at this time.
- Las Virgenes Unified School District (LVUSD) has closed all facilities for the remainder of the school year and has implemented home distance education.
- County animal control facilities are closed to the public. The Department of Animal Care and Control will continue to respond to emergency calls for service. For emergency animal control services contact the Agoura Hills dispatch line at: 818 991-0071
