Business License certificates are valid for one year from the day and month in which your business started. An email message will be sent to you prior to your license expiration date letting you know that your license is about to expire. If you do not receive a renewal notice via email or mail, please contact the Finance Department at firstname.lastname@example.org or 818-597-7320.
Online renewal of business licenses is available for most businesses. Visit us at https:bl.cityah.org to renew your business license online. You'll need your Business License # and your PIN # located in the box on your renewal form to complete the process. - Upon receipt of the renewal request, please verify that all information is current and accurate.
If there is any change of information on the renewal form such as change of location, change of business description, or change of ownership and the business is located in the City, a new license must be created.
- The $4.00 fee for Senate Bill 1186 must be included with the license fee payment.
- Payment must accompany the renewal application.
- Your renewal payment must be received by the due date indicated on the request to avoid late charges.
Closing or No Longer Doing Business in Agoura Hills
If your business is closing or no longer conducting business within the City, please write it (closed or no longer conducting business) on the renewal form, sign it and return the form.
Business license fees not paid or received by the due date will result in a late penalty charge of $25.
