Parks Update

Post Date:05/15/2020 3:38 PM

The City of Agoura Hills would like to remind its residents of what recreational amenities are currently open. With recent orders being released from the LA County Department of Public Health, the LA County Department of Parks and Recreation has started to reopen various amenities across the County. Much of what the County is reopening will align with what the City of Agoura Hills has had in place since the “Stay at Home” order was issued back in March.

All park walkways and open spaces remain open for residents to enjoy outdoor, physical activity.  The Equestrian Arena in Old Agoura remains open with limited operating hours.  The facility is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no more than two h

orses and two riders in the Main Arena allowed at one time. The Equestrian Arena parking lot remains closed.  The three outdoor basketball courts in town remain open, although large group gatherings are not permitted.  Social distancing is required at all parks.

Park restrooms and playgrounds continue to be closed, as well as the Tennis Courts at Agoura High School.  City facilities remain closed to the public and include City Hall, the Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center, and the Reyes Adobe Historical Site.  Residents are encouraged to reach out if they have any questions regarding the City’s facilities and amenities and how they are effected by the new LA County Department of Public Health orders.  Please email us at
