Congressman Lieu's 2020 Congressional Art Competition and Service Academy Day

Post Date:01/16/2020 8:00 AM
The Congressional Art Competition is a national competition that recognizes and encourages artistic talent in high school students. Students submit their original art piece to their representative and a panel of art professionals selects the winning entry. Students that enter our competition must either go to school or live in our district. Winners are recognized both in their district and at an annual awards ceremony in Washington D.C. The winning works are displayed for one year in the U. S. Capitol. More details about the competition can be found here: http://www.house.gov/content/educate/art_competition/ and https://lieu.house.gov/services/art-competition. This year, our ceremony for the Congressional Art Competition is taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills and our submission deadline is on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 5:00 PM.
