- Currently, 20.9% of the City's general fund budget is derived from sales tax.
Of the $11.47 million in the general fund budget for 2012-13, $2.6 of it is derived from sales tax revenue
How is sales tax revenue spent within Agoura HIlls?
Sales tax revenue is the primary source of funding for programs, projects, and services that make Agoura Hills the unique community, such as a strong police force, fire services, active Senior Citizens programs, strong youth programs.
This revenue also supports the repaving of local streets, repairing potholes, maintaining sidewalks and equestrian/hiking trails.
How can I, as a local business community member, participate?
It’s simple! If you are a registered business, you will receive all of the program features for free! Registered businesses will be allowed to add a description of their business and products as well as a link to their business website on the business directory.
