The City of Agoura Hills is happy to announce that they have purchased the property located at 29900 Ladyface Court for their new home of the Agoura Hills Recreation Center. The proximity of the site which is next to the civic center and library, making it an ideal opportunity to create a civic complex for the community.

This 15,500 sq. ft. facility on a 6.2-acre site is well suited for a cost effective conversion into a recreation center that completes the civic center. The projected completion date for the new center is slated for the end of 2012. Funds for the purchase came from the city’s 6-year savings program designated for a new recreation center.

Roesling Nakamura Terada Architects, Inc., has been awared the contract  to assist the city in the architectural and design services for the new recreation facility.

A recent survey conducted by the state’s department of recreation indicated that 98% of families access local parks and recreation programs within their community. Agoura Hills offers residents a variety of community services for both passive and active recreation. This center will continue its history of providing the community with top notch recreation programming.
